The deluxe option of solvent waste collection, Justrite Centura™ safety cans offer a range of features which set them apart from other containers typically used for effluents. With a spring-loaded and pressure-relieving lid, spark arrester, groundable pouring spout, and polypropylene quick disconnects with shutoff valves, these containers make waste collection a relatively clean and easy process. The pour spout can be locked in open position when emptying the contents, and because the quick disconnects include shutoff valves, it’s easy to disengage waste manifolds and exhaust filters when switching out full containers with empty ones.

Note that the plastic quick disconnects (polypropylene with EPDM seals) can fail and cause leaks when exposed to some solvents, so be certain to ensure compatibility with your chemicals prior to use, and consider upgrading to the stainless steel quick disconnect version if necessary.
